We have the expertise to design, develop and manufacture components or a total air data system, providing the benefit of streamlining the process of component integration for our customers. A system design may include air data computers, pitot static, pitot angle of attack, dual heated static ports, total air temperature and outside air temperature sensors. Many of these are available as FAA TSO Authorized products. In addition to basic industry standards, HARCO's products comply with DO178 - Software Considerations in Airborne Systems and Equipment Certification; and DO160D Environmental Conditions and Test Procedures for Airborne Equipment. HARCO takes great pride in its reputation for exceptional service and solutions. Our existing portfolio has met the specific needs of existing customers and established a platform that lends itself to a solution base for our new customers.
Our product designs are always with performance and cost in mind. The same sensors can be utilized in pressurized and non-pressurized cabin areas using mounting hardware that eliminates the OEM’s need to supply additional hardware. 3D designs are matched to the OEMs aircraft skin to achieve aerodynamic performance and accuracy essential to RVSM certification. HARCO’s air data sensors are designed specifically to meet the performance, weight and cost requirements of the aviation market. Proprietary and patented technologies, materials and designs are employed to meet those requirements.
